On Sunday, September 20, 2026, RAQS in the City Sessions is joining forces with JBelly School of RAQ for a full day of belly dance, culture, shopping, education, and performance at Secret Room NYC.

Meet Khadijah from KSA

Khadijah from KSA is an international performer, educator, choreographer, and ethnologist specializing in Khaleeji and Afro-Arabian dance traditions. Of Kenyan descen

t and born in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, her work goes beyond movement to explore the music, folklore, history, and cultural traditions behind the dances she teaches.

With more than two decades of experience, Khadijah brings dancers a deeper understanding of not only how we dance, but the cultural roots behind the movement.

Essentials of the Khaleej: Roots, Culture & Movement
