The New York Belly Dance Festival is back for its second unforgettable edition, taking place March 21–22, 2026, in the heart of Manhattan, NYC. This international celebration of belly dance brings together world-class artists, passionate dancers, and vibrant community energy for a weekend of movement, culture, and inspiration. With workshops, gala performances, and a buzzing dance bazaar, NYBDF is one of the most anticipated global dance events in the United States.

The festival features 12+ hours of workshops designed for dancers of all levels, taught by world-renowned instructors:
Sadie (USA) International belly dance star and Shakira’s choreographer, Sadie is known for her sharp technique, viral performances, and empowering instruction. Creator of Raqs Flow, she continues to inspire dancers around the world. Lebanese Simon (Lebanon/USA) Master of Dabke and Oriental dance, Simon brings the soul of Lebanese folklore to stages worldwide. His dynamic style blends tradition with modern flair. Diva Darina (Ukraine) Ukrainian-born global instructor and performer, Diva Darina is famed for her signature “Diva Style.” With over 40 countries toured, she fuses power, grace, and safe dance technique.
🎭 MEET THE DIRECTOR – Samantha Diaz

Samantha Diaz, a celebrated dancer, producer, and creative force, is the founder of Dance Soul Entertainment and the creator of the New York Belly Dance Festival. As a burn survivor who overcame the trauma of severe injury, she credits movement and dance with fueling her healing journey.
With two decades in the entertainment industry and leadership experience directing the Orlando Belly Dance Convention, Samantha created NYBDF to build platforms where dancers of all backgrounds can express their full selves, celebrate culture, and build global community through art. She continues to inspire others through her performances, teaching, and artistic vision.
